2022 EPIK Training in Fresno, CA

Interested in joining the fight against Human Trafficking? Our EPIK Patrols are one way to dive in! Through a series of encrypted, protected cyber platforms, our EPIK Patrols re-route incoming phone calls from potential sex-buyers to our team of trained patrolees. During these calls, the goal is to disrupt demand; every call we intercept is one that a real girl/human doesn't receive. As we disrupt demand, we're also educating these potential purchasers about the consequences of their actions; how they are perpetuating the cycle of human trafficking and how many of these girls on the other end of the line are actually being trafficked. This all-day training will equip you with the tools needed to feel confident on your end of the line - educating you about Human Trafficking, how to converse with buyers, resources to give them, ways to weave the conversation, next-steps and alternatives to getting them the help they need, and more.

• Participating in the training does not guarantee access to the EPIK team. Upon completion of training, a background check and interview will take place in order to qualify participants.
• Our EPIK Patrols are a faith-based component to our organization, and as such our EPIK Patrol team professes a relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Please note: a prerequisite for our EPIK Patrol Teams is that each participant attends one of our Volunteer Orientation/HT101 presentations. If you have not attended one of these in the past, we will send you info on the next upcoming presentation prior to the training.
